Brajsundar Das

Brajsundar Das is a multifaceted personality, embodying the roles of spiritual leader, author, global speaker, and educator. Born into an aristocratic Brahmin family in December 1984, his spiritual journey began early under the guidance of his mother. In 2002, he joined ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) and received initiation in 2007 from Sri Srimad Radha Govinda Das Goswami Maharaja, dedicating his life to spreading the wisdom of the Srimad Bhāgavatam.


Since 2007, Brajsundar Prabhuji has resided in Vrindavan Dham and has been instrumental in establishing ISKCON Bhagavata Mahavidyalaya centers in India, Europe, and North America. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Master of Arts in History and is currently pursuing a Ph.D.


Having grown up in a spiritually enriched environment, Brajsundar Prabhuji has devoted his career to sharing the teachings of the Srimad Bhāgavatam. He has conducted over 241 seminars across 21 countries and 168 cities, training more than 4,756 devotees through his Bhāgavata Teachers Training course. He has also authored four books and serves as an editor for the Nityam Bhagavata Sevaya e-magazine.


Brajsundar Prabhus has built a significant online following, with over 400,000 social media followers. He hosts podcasts in both English and Hindi, continuing to inspire and guide others on their spiritual paths.


In addition to his spiritual contributions, he serves as Deputy GBC, a member of the Sannyasa Ministry, and Director of School Development with the ISKCON Ministry of Education.

Course Overview

Course Description:

Srimad Bhagavatam Study circle covering the spectrum of Bhagavatam in 64 weeks by touching upon some of the critical Chapters. Sixty-four important Chapters from 12 Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam will be covered , discussed and learning will be deliberated. 

Course Contents:

Sixty-four weeks Study circle with live online weekend classes. One verse from one chapter will be assigned to the group for each week of the program. Participants are required to read the assigned chapter with absorption through the week. There will be a weekend class conducted on the given chapter where the main philosophical points will be spoken about. Q&A sessions will follow each lecture to clarify any doubts the participants may have. Group discussions will be conducted after each class to share reflections and takeaways.

All participants will get support and guidance throughout the program to motivate them to keep reading and studying regularly.

Target Audience: Devotees who are looking to get into a regular and systematic study of Srimad Bhagavatam.

Assessment Plan: Weekly MCQ test. 

Course Requirement: Commitment to read 1 sloka with purport daily and 1 chapter with translations . Attend the weekly discussion classes to discuss and deliberate on the assigned chapter.

Important Guidelines for the Students:

Students must have access to internet and a device on which they can join the live classes (cameras will be required to be on for the classes).

While the teachers and the team members will do their very best to serve all the participants through regular communication, motivation and any assistance that the participants require to continue with the program , students are expected to display enthusiasm and willingness to participate actively in the program by reading as per the schedule and attending the live classes.

Participants will be encouraged to share realizations and speak during the discussion session following the lecture.
