About the Teacher
ISKCON Bhagavat Mahavidyalaya aims to provide a facility for its members to study, practice, and disseminate the teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam, along with the writings of the Gaudiya Vaisnava acaryas and the branches of Vedic philosophy, culture, music and science in the context of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.
ISKCON Bhagavat Mahavidyalaya has been inspired by the service and efforts of His Grace Gopiparanadhana Prabhu and His Holiness Gaur Krishna Gosvami Maharaja. Welcome to the self-study courses on the Uddhava Gita, an intricate and profound scripture found in the 11th canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. Often regarded as the sequel to the Bhagavad Gita, this scripture encapsulates in greater detail the teachings of Lord Krishna. The Uddhava Gita is named after Sri Krishna's discourses to Sri Uddhava just before His departure from this world. It provides an extensive exploration of topics discussed in the Bhagavad Gita.
Course Description:
The Uddhava Gita consists of 23 chapters, delving deep into the spiritual wisdom imparted by Lord Krishna. It covers various aspects of life, spirituality, and the path to transcendence. This self-study course offers a comprehensive understanding of these teachings and their practical application in one's life.
