About the Teacher
Madhava Kumar das came in touch with ISKCON and Krishna Consciousness in childhood. When he was around 10 year’s age, he was a spiritual seeker and got introduced to Krishna Consciousness through one of his relatives. He joined ISKCON full time as a Brahmachari in 2008 when he was just 17 years old in ISKCON Juhu.
Having finished junior college before joining, he finished his Bachelors degree (graduation) with Philosophy as a special subject.
In ISKCON Juhu, Madhava Kumar das served as an assistant to the temple president for few years along with some youth preaching. Later on he was transferred to Indore where currently he is a Manager of an Extension Centre of Indore, ISKCON Rau overseeing all sorts of activities in the Centre.
He has finished his Bhakti sastri degree & Teachers Training Course 1. He has also finished successfully the ISKCON Leads, Leadership Management Course called ILEADS which comprises of all major courses in ISKCON. He is a certified teacher of the ISKCON Disciples Course. He also teaches several courses such as Japashraya , Namashraya, Krishna Conscious Self Management, Relationship Management, The Art of Better Living, etc in many temples in Madhya Pradesh.
He acts as a Preacher and Counsellor for many spiritual practitioners and seekers in Indore.

पाठ्यक्रम विवरण:
भगवान श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु कोई और नहीं बल्कि सर्वोच्च भगवान श्री कृष्ण हैं, जो इस युग के लिए युग धर्म - संकीर्तन, भगवान के पवित्र नामों का सामूहिक जप - का उद्घाटन करने के लिए इस कलियुग में प्रकट हुए थे। जबकि भगवान ने गोस्वामी सहित अपने सहयोगियों को भक्ति सेवा के विज्ञान पर असंख्य निर्देश दिए, उन्होंने अपने निर्देशों के केवल आठ श्लोक लिखित रूप में छोड़े, और उन्हें शिक्षाष्टक के रूप में जाना जाता है। ये छंद भगवान कृष्ण की मनोदशा हैं जब वे अपनी शाश्वत पत्नी, सर्वोच्च देवी, श्रीमती राधिका की मनोदशा और रंग लेते हैं। शिक्षाष्टकम के आठ श्लोक कृष्ण चेतना के नौ आध्यात्मिक चरणों को चित्रित करते हैं और अभ्यासकर्ता को श्रद्धा के प्रारंभिक चरण से प्रेम के पूर्ण चरण तक ले जाते हैं।
