A Brāhmaṇa's concern
Śrīla Prabhupāda: No, they are not brāhmaṇas. Those who give education in exchange for money—they are not brāhmaṇas. For instance, we are lecturing, educating people. We don't say, "Give us a salary." We simply ask them, "Please come." That is why we are cooking food and holding so many free festivals. "We'll give you food. We'll give you a comfortable seat. Please come and hear about self-realization and God consciousness." We are not asking money—"First of all pay the fee; then you can come and learn Bhagavad-gītā." We never say that. But these so-called teachers who first of all bargain for a salary—"What salary will you give me?"—that is a dog's concern. That is not a brāhmaṇa's concern. A brāhmaṇa will never ask about a salary. A brāhmaṇa is eager to see that people are educated. "Take free education and be educated; be a human being"—this is a brāhmaṇa's concern: You see? I came here not to ask for any money but to give instruction. - Journey of self-discovery
The position of Brahmanas/Brahminical institutions
Some points from the Purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 7.11.14:
- Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura explains: Brāhmaṇas have six occupational duties, of which three are compulsory—namely, studying the Vedas, worshiping the Deity and giving charity. By teaching, by inducing others to worship the Deity, and by accepting gifts, the brāhmaṇas receive the necessities of life.
- This is also confirmed in the Manu-saṁhitā:
ṣaṇṇāṁ tu karmaṇām asya trīṇi karmāṇi jīvikā
yajanādhyāpane caiva viśuddhāc ca pratigrahaḥ
“Of the six occupational duties of the brāhmaṇas, three are compulsory—namely, worship of the Deity, study of the Vedas and the giving of charity. In exchange, a brāhmaṇa should receive charity, and this should be his means of livelihood.” - Charity should be given to those who are pure.

Food for Life for Vrajvasis
₹1,000.00 – ₹50,000.00
The conclusion is that if one can feed a brāhmaṇa or Vaiṣṇava, it is better than performing hundreds of thousands of sacrifices. In this age, therefore, it is recommended that harernāma — chanting the holy name of God — and pleasing the Vaiṣṇava are the only means to elevate oneself to spiritual life. ŚB 3.16.8

Friends of Cows
₹2,500.00 – ₹25,000.00
The Vedic literature enjoins us to satisfy the needs of the cows daily (with food, shelter, and so on) before we satisfy our own needs.
All the demigods reside in the body of a cow. This explains why the body of a cow is divine and holy. The Garuda Purana says that anyone who has even once worshiped Mother Cow will be saved after death from the great suffering of hell (Naraka).
Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, gave more importance to the worship of the cows than to the worship of the king of the demigods, Indra. Therefore in India even today many millions of pious Vedic followers worship Mother Cow at least once a year on the Govardhana Puja day.

Granth Dana
₹4,000.00 – ₹20,700.00
“Whoever gets a book is benefited. If he reads the book he is benefitted still more, or if he gives the book to someone else for reading, both he and the other person are benefitted.” -Srila Prabhupada’s Letter to the German Devotees on May 6, 1977.
When Srila Prabhupada started this ISKCON movement, he started educating people & thereby empowering them with the knowledge of the scriptures. Srila Prabhupada’s books contained all this knowledge which is acting like the oil on which the ISKCON machine is running. Srila Prabhupada often said “books are the basis of our Movement. Without our books, our preaching will have no effect.” By donating books one can become the messenger of the Lord.
We envisioned making a library in ISKCON Bhagavata Mahavidyalaya which will not only be having books all the books written by Srila Prabhupada but by all the acharyas of Brahma Madhava Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya. Your generous contribution will enable us to do this service for the pleasure of the devotees.
